After many sessions of hard work carving foam, paper mache-ing, cutting & attaching fabric, painting feet & beak (bill?), Margaret finally finished her school project this weekend. She completed PIP the Penguin, a 3-D model of a Little Blue Fairy Penguin who hails from Australia. Here she is posing with the final product. Pretty impressive, don't you think?

Wow! That is a great likeness! You should take it to the Woodland Park Zoo and see if the real penguins take to it!
