Dining in our new digs...

Jeff picked up our new bar stools the other day, so now we can all eat at our counter. Not sure how long it will be until the kitchen nook booth comes, but in the meantime, we're enjoying the views from the counter!

More Hawaii pics

Looking back through our pictures from Maui once we got home, I was struck by how many fun things we managed to do during our week. While I wouldn't call it the most relaxing vacation we've ever had, it was definitely a great time. Here are a few more pics of family and fun...

Checking out the tidepools at a nature preserve.

Caroline took this shot of us at the lu'au

Aloha from Maui

I put this together last week but couldn't get it uploaded...

We've been enjoying our spring break here on Maui--having so much fun, in fact, that I've been too busy to post to the blog. Some of our highlights have been seeing whales and a monk seal on our morning beach walks, LOTS of swimming in the pool and some in the ocean, a little bit of snorkeling (Margaret did GREAT and Caroline gave it a try). We also have done some sightseeing to check out a blow hole, neat volcanic features, and the ritzy resorts along a beautiful stretch of coastline. The weather's been less than ideal but we're trying to make the best of it. Tonight we'll go to a lu'au to watch the dancing, and tomorrow the girls will go to the aquarium while Jeff and I try to get in a round of golf. Here are a few of our pictures so far...

St. Mike's Spring Program

Thursday was the spring program at school, and the girls each sang with their classes. It was a cute, uplifting program with all the songs having positive themes about helping each other, having a positive attitude, etc... Caroline's song was "Pass It On" and Margaret sang "High Five Hand Jive" and "Smile."

Caroline's in the second row from the top of the bleachers, over on the right...

Margaret's impossible to see in the group shot above (back row on the right next to the bleachers...), but you can see her waiting to file off the stage.
