What a nice change to have a low-key weekend! After a rocky start on Friday, with Caroline having to stay home from school with an ear infection and Margaret's friend's sleepover getting cancelled due to stomach flu, we've had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Friday night we had the Barrette gals over for a PJ party, and the rest of the weekend has just been running a few errands and hanging out at the house. We enjoyed a family movie night on Saturday night with "Akeela and the Bee." What a great, inspirational movie!

Margaret cooking us some yummy curried chicken and veggies on Saturday. She pretty much did the whole thing--and then ate it too! She's such an adventurous eater!
Caroline checking our the Wall Street Journal on Sunday morning. Believe it or not she made it through the whole article of Bernie Madoff's guilty plea before trading it for her American Girl magazine. She wanted to know if people really got to play ping pong in prison....
