A Midsummer Night's Dream

The long-awaited performance by the fifth grade class of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream finally arrived!  After rehearsing twice a week for the entire school year, Caroline's class put on a stellar production of the famous comedy last week.  Caroline had the role of Titania, the Fairy Queen, and did an outstanding job.  The whole class was very well-prepared and entertaining.  It really is one of the neatest traditions of the school, and I am so thankful both girls got to experience it.  Now, the entire fifth class is off to Ashland during the last week of school to watch a professional production of the same play, as well as some other excellent theater, and to celebrate graduation from elementary school.  And lucky me, I get to be a chaperone again, like I did for Margaret's class! Yeah!
