Meeting the Bishop

Friday night the girls participated in a special service to prepare for their baptism at Easter. They got to meet Bishop Tyson at a Rite of Election held in Shelton. The Bishop was very friendly and accessible to the kids after the service. He wanted to know if Caroline was a hockey player with all her missing teeth. They chatted for quite some time with him about Inspector Clueseau (Pink Panther) and the German version of SpongeBob SquarePants. He's multilingual, and they were intrigued by his ability to speak other languages... Caroline is quite excited to have a picture with the Bishop to share with her class, although we had really hoped to be able to get a picture with him in his fancy hat and scepter.
